We've prepared a detailed guide to walk you through everything you need to know to successfully mint your NFT.
Pre-Mint Preparation
Before you can mint your KIP Genesis NFT, you need to ensure everything is set for a smooth process:
- Wallet Setup: Each participant is allowed to mint one NFT per wallet. Ensure your wallet is compatible and set up to mint on the Ethereum network (ETH). Also, make sure you have sufficient ETH for gas fees.
- Mint Site and Wallet Checker: Visit our official Mint Site (https://genesis.kip.pro) and use the Wallet Checker to determine which mint phase your wallet qualifies for.
- Understand the Timeline: Be aware of the hard deadlines for minting your Genesis NFT (Stages & Phases described below).
About the Genesis NFT:
The Genesis NFT is a Blind Box, which includes one of three tiers of the Genesis Pass. You’ll have the option to open the Blind Box to find out the tier (randomly assigned), or you can keep it sealed to trade on secondary marketplaces. Each tier provides its holder with different amounts of KIP tokens, distributed via airdrop following the KIP Token Generation Event (TGE) at a date we will announce.
Minting Process
The minting process is divided into two stages (Stage 1 and Stage 2), with specific windows for different participant groups.
Stage 1: Guaranteed Allocation for Community OGs, Collabs, Treasury and Strategic Business Partners
A total of 1,788 NFTs are allocated for this stage.
Date & Time: April 29th, from 13:00 to 16:00 UTC
Stage 2: Galxe & TaskOn campaign participants - Tiered Leaderboard Allocation (TLA) on a First-Come First-Served (FCFS) basis
A total of 2,100 NFTs are allocated for this stage.
Date & Time: April 29th, from 16:00 UTC onward, rolling out in phases:
- Phase 1: 16:00 UTC - Top 10% of leaderboard scorers and Task-On winners
- Phase 2: 16:15 UTC - Top 35% of leaderboard scorers
- Phase 3: 16:30 UTC - Top 85% of leaderboard scorers
- Phase 4: 16:45 UTC - All remaining participants
- Phase 5: 17:00 UTC - Open to the public for general sale
Note: Be ready at the start times to secure your Genesis NFT! Stage 2 is strictly following a Tiered Leaderboard Allocation & First-Come First-Served basis. Once minted, there will be no additional phases.
Mint Price
The minting of KIP Genesis NFTs is free (excluding gas fees), allowing everyone a fair and equal chance to participate without any added barriers.
Mint Roll-over
Any unsold NFTs from Stage 1 will be added to Stage 2.
Any NFTs remaining after Stage 2 will go on Public sale.
Trading on secondary markets
After the Genesis NFT supply is fully minted, trading will be enabled on secondary marketplaces:
