This April was a massive month for KIP, as we achieved many significant milestones, flew to Hong Kong and Dubai for several on-ground events, forged new major partnerships, and many more milestones.
Here’s a detailed recap of what went down in the hustle and bustle of April:
Season 1 Draws to an Epic Close, with Season 2 Launching Soon
Midway through the month of April, our followers on X eclipsed the 100,000 mark – a significant milestone for us at KIP. Our Discord server has been growing rapidly as well, as more and more support and engagement poured into our community in greater magnitudes far quicker than we expect.
To date, a grand total of over 148,000 users have participated in Season 1, completing various tasks in both Galxe and TaskOn platforms in a bid to collect points and be eligible for the NFT Blindbox – the Genesis Pass NFT. Each blindbox will reveal different tiers of Genesis NFTs, which will earn each user a different amount of $KIP token allocation.
After 24 cycles, our Season 1 has drawn to a close. The launch date and details of Season 2 will soon be shared, but we guarantee it to be bigger and better.
Genesis Pass NFT: A Sold-Out Success
The Genesis Pass NFT mint event wrapped up with resounding success, with all 3,888 Genesis Passes selling out completely thanks to the enthusiastic participation of our community. Stage 2 of the mint sold out in an astonishing 4 minutes.
This milestone is not merely a testament to our team’s achievements but more so underscoring the rapid growth of KIP’s community and the support they have given to KIP Protocol since day one.

In light of community feedback, our CEO Julian addressed key concerns during a transparent review of the minting process. He tackled the issue of alleged favoritism towards whales by sharing on-chain data to ensure transparency.
Julian also outlined the thought process behind our strategic decisions regarding the size and partners of the collection. These choices were made to maintain the exclusivity and value of the Genesis Passes. For those who faced issues during the mint, KIP is offering refunds for gas fees, reaffirming our commitment to fairness and community trust.

Smooth KIP100x Soulbound Token (SBT) Airdrop
As the Genesis Pass NFTs quickly sold-out, we simultaneously launched the KIP100x Soulbound Token (SBT) initiative, seamlessly distributing these tokens to the Base blockchain wallets of our most engaged users – those that have completed at least 7 out of the total of 24 cycles in Season 1. These tokens are essentially digital trophies, celebrating the hard work and dedication our community members have shown to the platform.
The SBT unlocks several exclusive benefits for its holders: direct $KIP airdrops post-TGE, priority on future whitelists, and first access to launches within the KIP ecosystem, not to mention enhanced chances in upcoming raffles and contests. These perks are designed to add substantial value to the active participation and continued loyalty of our community members.
This airdrop was a token of appreciation automatically given to those who actively participated in Season 1 of our Genesis Campaign, recognizing their significant contributions to the community. Official AI Partner for Open Campus
Our partnership with Open Campus marks a significant step towards integrating AI with education. As the new official AI partner, KIP will utilize its technologies to revolutionize how educational content is delivered and monetized.

We participated in our partner TinTinLand's event in Hong Kong on 6th April, which brought together developers of all levels — from those just starting out to experienced builders looking to integrate AI into their projects.
At KIP, we are dedicated to creating strong connections with dApp builders, data owners, and model trainers. These relationships are vital as they contribute to and help expand our ecosystem. Our path forward is a collective one, and our achievements are deeply interconnected with the success of our community members.

Our participation in Token2049 in Dubai was a standout event this month. The KIP team not only presented our decentralized AI solutions to a global audience but also connected with peers and enthusiasts in the blockchain space.
Our presence was bolstered by attending several notable events, including Animoca Portfolio Day alongside our partner OpenCampus, which gave us the opportunity to meet fellow supporters and the wider Web3 community to talk about what KIP Protocol is bringing to the table, and how we are set to make a huge impact in the decentralized AI space.
Inaugural KIP Community Call
Our first-ever KIP Community Call on X Spaces attracted a large audience, making it a resounding success. During the call, our Co-Founders Julian and Jen shared valuable insights into how creators can leverage KIP's platform to tokenize and monetize their knowledge.
