We’re implementing a strategic upgrade to the investor vesting structure for the KIP Protocol.
Originally set to begin on April 10, 2025, the unlock schedule has been re-evaluated in light of current market conditions and key milestones on our roadmap.

We’ve also aligned the team’s first token unlock with this new schedule — pushing it back by 3 months.
While investor vesting has been shortened, the team’s vesting duration remains unchanged. This reflects our long-term commitment and deep alignment with the protocol’s success.

1. Protecting Price Stability
Uncontrolled monthly unlocks are a recipe for volatility. By shifting to daily vesting, we eliminate cliff-style dumps and support more consistent liquidity management—for both investors and the market.
2. Accelerating Full Access
While the first unlock is delayed, the total vesting period is 8 months shorter. Investors get their full allocation sooner, with smoother access along the way.
3. Timing Unlocks to Real Product Milestones
We’re aligning the first unlock with major protocol milestones:
• Superior Agents — Launch of autonomous, self learning AI agents
• KIP Hub — AI tooling infrastructure goes live
• veKIP — Governance and value capture system activation
